Project Manager - Data - Project Management - Up to £40,000
We are seeking a skilled Data Project Manager to oversee the comprehensive operational delivery of projects, encompassing Health and Safety, Technical, Commercial, and Managerial aspects, from bid initiation through pre-commencement to practical completion. The primary focus is on ensuring profitability through effective leadership, providing high-quality customer service, and collaborating with relevant support functions assigned to the project, such as planning, commercial, technical, and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Health and Safety Leadership: Demonstrate appropriate leadership to prioritise safety in all project activities.
- Business Processes: Ensure adherence to company policies, processes, and procedures.
- Compliance: Ensure that all works comply with company standards, exceed client expectations, and meet/exceed international standards and manufacturers' installation guidelines.
- Team Leadership: Provide leadership for the project delivery team, maximising the potential of both the team and individual team members.
- Bid Activity: Participate in bid activities as requested by senior management and collaborate with the Business Development team.
- Business Planning and Budgeting: Provide input in the preparation of business plans and budgets based on initial contract parameters and objectives. Seek opportunities to maximise project profitability and continue to monitor profitability.
- Monthly Reviews: Provide appropriate input to all monthly reviews to ensure senior management has full knowledge of the project's completion and financial status until completion.
- Project Delivery: Manage all related activities to the successful completion of projects. Align with agreed quality and commercial plans to achieve targets within agreed timescales and cost constraints.
- Customer Relationships: Ensure positive relationships are maintained with the customer through efficient project delivery, aiming to optimise future opportunities and profitability.
- Technical Oversight: Ensure design and installation meet internal and client specifications and statutory requirements.

- Forward-thinking: Identify relevant milestones for long-term projects, plan the sequence of key events, and consider contingency needs.

- Initiative: Ability to use initiative to generate ideas for new ways of working and add value.
Certifications:
- UKATA (CAT A) Asbestos Awareness
- CSCS (or ECS) Card for Managers
- Project Management Certification, preferably CTPM, APM, or Prince 2
- SMSTS or equivalent
- Desirable: First Aid at Work, NPPV Vetting, and DBS
