Data Protection Solicitor - Top 100 Firm - Partnership Opportunity

Fantastic opportunity to work at this highly flexible Top 100 law firm and be based with one of the most reputable law firms in the North of England. They are specifically seeking an experienced Data Protection Solicitor with at least 2 Years PQE to help grow the department and work with a stellar client base.

You will be expected to come in and assist the department in matters relating to Data Protection, ideally you will have in-depth experience of dealing with privacy and Data Protection matters. The ideal candidate will; 
 

• Have strong experience in managing data privacy / protection and data compliance
• Provide support including assistance with support in data privacy impact evaluations, data privacy incident management and handle data subject requests
• Draft and negotiate data processing agreements
• Implement and ensure execution of data privacy programs and provide respective guidance to management including regular data privacy trainings to the organisation
• Have good written and verbal communication skills, ability to work well and deliver data advice to non-lawyers in a common-sense manner
• Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Have a strong Legal 500 background
• This is a challenging position with great opportunity for development.

On top of fee earning there will be an emphasis on developing the team & client base, as well as offering a clear path to Partnership. You will be working closely with Commercial Partners and the management board to assist with growth and development. 
Based in Manchester the company does offer flexible / hybrid working. Ideally they would be looking for employees to be in the office 2 days a week.
