They are looking for a passionate Data Scientist, to join their expanding and diverse team where you will be given the opportunity to gain a wide range of experience, develop your skills and have lots of fun in the process.
They specialise in delivering exciting data-led products and services to the largest public and private sector organisations in the UK, particularly in defence, security, intelligence, and government markets, as well as key clients in critical national infrastructure (CNI) across the world.
As a Data Scientist, you will be working collaboratively with industry experts to uncover hidden insights that solve important and impactful real-world problems within a growing team of data specialists. You will utilise advanced technology stacks to analyse complex datasets to build and deliver solutions to diverse problems.
They are looking for creative problem-solvers and communicators with a passion for gaining insights from data and building tailored solutions to their client’s biggest problems.
About you
- Strong experience of programming languages like Python or R to ingest and analyse datasets
- Knowledge and understanding of core Data Science and Machine Learning principles, considerations, and applications
- A keen interest in continual learning and consulting across varying projects with our clients in the engineering domain
- An ability to quickly absorb complex concepts, identify solutions and effectively communicate results to audiences of varying technical knowledge
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to be able to liaise with and report to clients and partners
- An interest in helping junior team members to successfully deliver their projects.
- Minimum 2.2 Bachelors or above in: Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Operational Research, Engineering, or related degree.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Data Science.
