As a Manager for our Data Services, you'll be the linchpin in optimising our data flow, ensuring seamless data processes, and delivering advanced data solutions that empower our customers with real-time insights and operational efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Strategy & Governance: Craft and enforce robust data management strategies and governance policies.
- Data Flow Optimisation: Analyse, document, and enhance data processes across various platforms, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
- Innovative Solutions: Lead the creation of self-service dashboards and real-time reporting tailored to customer needs.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay ahead of data technology trends and champion best practices in data management.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with diverse teams to translate business needs into actionable technical requirements.
- Data Frameworks & Cataloguing: Implement and maintain comprehensive data frameworks and cataloguing systems.
You’re a data enthusiast with a knack for problem-solving and a passion for exploring new technologies. With at least 7 years of experience in data management, you bring expertise in SAP, cloud-based data solutions (especially Microsoft Azure), and data visualisation tools. Your strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively make you a perfect fit for our innovative team.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Technical Prowess: Proficiency in data governance, architecture, integration, and visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Cloud Expertise: Familiarity with big data technologies and cloud platforms, particularly Azure.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong understanding of data frameworks and cataloguing.
- Communication: Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Salary - £60k - £70k – permanent role
- Pension – A generous contributory pension scheme, we will double match individual contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%
