Job Title:Transport Planner/Coordinator - Day Shift

Working Pattern: Full Time, Monday to Friday
Are you a skilled Transport Planner with a passion for planning and coordination? Our client is seeking a Transport Planner/Coordinator to join their team. Ideally you will have a background in aggregates/construction/waste.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and plan efficient transportation routes to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Liaise with drivers, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth and effective transport operations
- Monitor and analyse transport data to identify areas for improvement and optimise routes
- Assist in the development and implementation of transport strategies and policies
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of transport activities
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Transport Planner
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient in using transport management systems and software
- Analytical mindset with the ability to problem-solve
- Familiarity with legislation and regulations related to transportation
- A proactive and self-motivated approach to work
