Job Title:Transport Planner/Coordinator

Contract Type: Temp To Perm

Working Pattern: Full Time, Monday to Friday - 6am - 4pm / 8am - 6pm rotating - 1 hour unpaid lunch

Are you a skilled Transport Planner with a passion for planning and coordination? Our client is seeking a Transport Planner/Coordinator to join their team. Ideally you will have a background in aggregates/construction/waste.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and plan efficient transportation routes to ensure timely delivery of goods
• Liaise with drivers, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth and effective transport operations
• Monitor and analyse transport data to identify areas for improvement and optimise routes
• Assist in the development and implementation of transport strategies and policies
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of transport activities

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Transport Planner
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficient in using transport management systems and software
• Analytical mindset with the ability to problem-solve
• Familiarity with legislation and regulations related to transportation
• A proactive and self-motivated approach to work
