SalaryAstute’s Nuclear team is partnering with a civil nuclear and defence subcontractor to support a nuclear defence framework in recruiting a team of 8 Decommissioning Operatives on a rolling contract for its Aldermaston site.
The Decommissioning Operative role comes with an hourly rate up to �29.73 through CIS.
Key skills
Carry out tasks as required for specific decommissioning projects, including:
* Plant and equipment size reduction
* Plant and equipment decontamination
* Building/room/floor decontamination
* Support to HP monitors during waste packaging and processing.
* Other work areas could involve plant operations, installation and support to commissioning.
* Complete and maintain as necessary all associated records and documentation.
* Contribute to the development of business by internal referral and communication of appropriate information and intelligence.
Location, remuneration and timeframe of the Decommissioning Operative role
* Based at Aldermaston full time
* Hourly rate of �29.73 CIS
* Overtime (40-60 hours at 1.5x and 60+ hours at 2x times)
