What you will be doing

This ensures that we deliver the right people to that discipline with exactly the right match of skills and knowledge to work within our technical environments.

The IT Security function within Specialist and Infrastructure Support (SIS) is part of our Shared Services business and is a fast-paced growing team that works closely with all parts of our business as well as governments, industry bodies and regulators to ensure our systems and information are protected, and we are compliant with the highest standards. As a Cyber Security Analyst Apprentice you will be predominantly involved in the UK Security Operations Centre (UKSOC) and be actively monitoring the enterprise networks to mitigate the risk of external cyber-attack and insider threat, working across the UKSOC team to deploy proportionate measures to combat such threats.

During our 4 year Level 6 apprenticeship, you will also gain exposure to aspects of the wider IT Security function, including assurance, architecture and engineering, all of which are an essential background to become a fully rounded Cyber Security Analyst.

This apprenticeship provides the opportunity to work within our Shared Services business along with the opportunity to study for an Honours Degree programme.

At the end of the scheme you will have had a good mix of academic and work-based learning experiences to ensure you develop the skills that will support you and the business in the future

The Digital Technology Solutions Degree Apprenticeship is delivered by the University of Cranfield which is held on campus with a mixture of day release, block sessions and online delivery.

What Qualification will you get?

By the end of the apprenticeship you will obtain: Digital and Technology Solutions Professional Level 6
