Delivery Manager | SDLC & Agile | FinTech SaaS

An exciting opportunity to work for a global company that has developed a SaaS product catering to financial institutions. It offers real-time feeds and pricing of niche financial market information and is comparable with Bloomberg and Reuters. The firm is privately owned and has circa 600 employees worldwide, with its headquarters in London. They are focused on mergers and acquisitions, and they integrate new businesses and technology into the 'mothership'. Plenty of projects to get stuck into here!

This is a newly created position and you will be reporting to the CTO. You will be inheriting a team of circa five people which will be transitioned into your department. The team you will be managing will consist of:

• Agile Lead
• Scrum Master
• Release Manager
• QA Engineers (circa 3)

Your major stakeholders also report to the CTO and comprise x3 Software Engineering Managers (managing circa 30 developers) and a Head of SRE (managing 5 SREs). These four managers will be your day-to-day contacts. There will be other technical and non-technical stakeholders that you will be working with too such as the Head of Product, Programme Managers etc. Due to the collaborative nature of this role, it will be expected that you be able to attend the central London office once a week.

Whilst managing the team is an important part of this role, equally important is being very hands-on and offering strategic input.

Non-negotiables:

• Software Development Lifecycle ( SDLC ) experience. A solid background and experience are required here around best practices and improvements
• Agile best practice experience
• Strong gravitas and ability to liaise with a multitude of stakeholders across the technical and non-technical teams

Tech stack you will be working in:

• C#. NET for their core applications.
• Web API, REST
• SQL, Azure, Cosmos DB, Redis
• Azure Cloud - complex global Azure ecosystem.
• CI/CD - Azure DevOps
• Containerisation.
• IaC - Terraform.
• Configuration Management - Ansible.
• Service Fabric (and a little Kubernetes).
