Job Description:
As a Delivery Driver at S.R Davis, you will be an essential part of our operations, ensuring that our high-quality poultry products are delivered safely and efficiently to our customers. Your day will start with the crucial tasks of picking orders and loading delivery vans, followed by afternoon deliveries. This role requires significant manual handling and lifting alongside digital tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load, transport, and deliver items to clients or businesses in a safe and timely manner.
• Review orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete and the customer is satisfied.
• Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
• Adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules.
• Prepare reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
• Operate digital tools (e.g., iPad) for logistical and inventory tasks.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience as a delivery driver or similar role.
• Strong ability to handle physical workload: able to lift heavy items and participate in extensive manual labor.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in using digital devices for inventory management; strong IT skills are a must.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work early mornings and adapt to shifts.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £25,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
