Delivery Van Driver (Dungannon)

Dennison Commercials Ltd is the sole Volvo Truck & Bus dealer and the leading provider of heavy commercial vehicles in Northern Ireland. We are currently seeking a Full Time Delivery Van Driver to be based primarily at our Dungannon Depot.

Hours of work

The hours of work will be 8.30 to 17.00 Monday to Friday. Please note this role will involve working on Saturdays as and when required.

About The Role

Principal Responsibilities

• Delivery of parts to new and existing customers in the catchment area of our Dungannon depot
• Occasional delivery of parts to Dennisons Dealerpoints in Ballyclare, Coleraine and Newry
• Some goods inward stock handling and parts picking duties
• Loading and unloading of Delivery Van
• Replenishment of impressed stock with key customers
• Other depot support duties as required

Required Criteria

• A full, clean driving licence
• The ability to work as part of a team
• The ability to prioritise effectively and be highly organised
• A flexible and positive attitude to the job - duties can sometimes change at short notice
• The ability to work without supervision
• A polite and friendly manner
• Good communication skills - can communicate both internally and externally in a coherent and professional manner at all times
• Must be self-motivated, proactive and flexible with regards to working hours
• Excellent Punctuality
• Previous experience of a Delivery Van driving role

Desired Criteria

• A reasonable level of computer literacy would be advantageous along with previous experience of using stock control systems
• Relevant parts experience, working within a franchised dealership parts department would be highly desirable
