As a Demand Planner at Arco you will be responsible for influencing and obtaining cross functional consensus across sales, finance and category teams in order to forecast future customer consumption patterns and behaviours. You will also be responsible for driving collaborative demand plans direct with customers to agree service levels, stock investments and alternatives where required.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning and driving performance for the demand element of the sales plan, championing and driving adherence to best in class processes
- Developing, implementing and improving collaborative forecasting by working with sales teams, account managers, category, retail teams and customers
- Ensuring demand forecasts are informed by statistical forecasts, historical sales trends and business, brand and category insight, to ensure the forecast is robust and reflective of latest market intelligence
- Providing input, insight and challenge in the development of product life cycle strategies on product range and proposition
- Working with new customer wins and effectively onboard new consumption rates into the overall plan
- Providing insight to finance on risks and opportunities at a customer level
- Acting as a gatekeeper to Supply Planning ensuring high quality forecasts drive the right inventory investments

- Previous experience in a similar role
- A working knowledge of SAP, specifically SAP IBP would be greatly advantageous
- Previous experience of developing, and implementing strategic plans
- Management of a variety of stakeholders
- Must have strong communication skills
- Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office programmes
