Job Description
Perform data analysis using various predictive analytics models such as time series modelling, forecast modelling, outliers modelling. Apply Machine learning and AI to determine best methods in Kinaxis Rapid Response to generate robust business forecast across a 24 month horizon. Apply relevant statistical models and internal relationships, market knowledge and specific customer insights, accurately determine the future performance of the Business. Analyze historical data to identify & cleanse outliers and white noise but retain statistically relevant events which can only be spotted with advanced market knowledge. Liaise with Research & Development (R&D), Product Development, Marketing, Supply Planning and Customer service to support sales and finance team in revenue attainment. Lead monthly sales and operations planning meetings with Marketing and Sales to propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy. Provide actionable data analysis to support business cases for demand plans using data-driven methods, including use of Oracle fusion cloud (ERP) to convert PO’s to work orders and transfer orders, optimize inventory and supply planning. Create informative data dashboards utilizing blended Tableau data sources to present business critical updates and solutions to Executive Leadership. Analyze data and translate into reports and dashboards through Excel, PowerApps, and VBA.
Qualifications
Requires a Masters degree in Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain, or a directly related field plus two (2) years of experience in Project Management, Demand Planning or Supply Chain. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Bachelors degree plus five (5) years of described experience in lieu of a Master’s degree plus two (2) years of described experience.
Must have at least two (2) years of experience with the following:
- Statistical models and time series data.
- Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) like SAP R/3 ECC, SAP APO or Oracle Fusion cloud.
- Forecasting, inventory management, capacity planning, demand management and procurement.
- Six Sigma Green belt.
- DMAIC.
