Dental Receptionist

We are seeking a friendly Dental Receptionist to join our Exeter team.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome patients with a warm and friendly demeanor as they arrive at the dental office.
• Answer incoming phone calls, schedule appointments, and provide information about our services.
• Maintain and update patient records, including personal information, medical history, and treatment plans.
• Assist with billing and payment processing, including explaining treatment costs and processing insurance claims.
• Coordinate with the dental staff to ensure a smooth patient flow and efficient scheduling.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries, concerns, and needs with professionalism and empathy.
• Handle appointment reminders to reduce no-shows and ensure the smooth operation of the practice.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area to create a welcoming environment for patients.
• Handle administrative tasks as needed, including ordering office supplies and managing schedules.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with healthcare privacy laws.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to £12.00 per hour
