Job title: Receptionist/Front of house manager

We are a friendly, private dental practice located in the centre of Totton and we are looking for a friendly, organised, and professional individual to join our team as a Dental Receptionist. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations within the practice. Experience working on reception in a dental practice or a similar setting is essential.
The post would ideally be 4-5 days a week 8.45 to 5.45.
Key responsibilities & duties:
- Meeting and greeting patients
- Booking and amending appointments, answering the phone, updating patient records
- Supporting the manager in making sure the clinicians diaries are efficient.
- Leading on the patient journey
- Supporting the Practice Manager and clinical team with the smooth running of the practice, including administration duties such as following up on referrals.
- Handling payments
Work experience and skills:
- Ability to keep calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
- Previous administration or reception experience – essential
- Personable, positive and enthusiastic with a great customer focus
- Efficient on computers and using Microsoft software
- SOE/Exact experience desirable
- Strong communication and organisation skills
