We are currently seeking a part-time Receptionist to join our dynamic and dedicated team in Kilmarnock.
With around 600 modern practices across the UK, each with its own friendly, experienced, and well-established practice team, our receptionists play a key part in our patients’ journey. We support more than 4 million patients each year to get access to the care they need!

Receptionist Role and Responsibilities
You will act as the first point of contact for our patients, delivering outstanding levels of customer service and maintaining a professional, courteous approach. Your role will include:
· Supporting patient choice and providing information about products, services, promotions, available finance options and oral health products
· Conducting regular system reviews to identify and action issues around debt, open courses, missed appointments
· Build and nurture great working relationships with your practice colleagues; creating a friendly and supportive work environment
· Using the appointment booking system and managing diaries; appointment reminders and courtesy calls
· Taking ownership for all aspects of money management including transmitting electronic claims daily (EDI)
· Accurately update and protect patient information including on the patient electronic database
· Always adhering to mydentist policies and procedures
