Deputy Care Manager - Residential Care / Supported Living

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Deputy Care Manager for a Residential Care role based near Stretford in Greater Manchester. The role is with a reputable company that operates in the healthcare sector and are providing care to adults and children with learning disabilities. This role would be supporting services in Greater Manchester.

• Salary ranging from £27,000 to £30,000 per annum

The Role:
As a Deputy Care Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Supervising staff members
• Assist the service management
• Take overall responsibility in ensuring the running of the home/service
• Help with training/mentoring staff members
• Dealing with administrative tasks

The Candidate:
The ideal candidate for the Deputy Care Manager position should have:

• Level 3 QCF/NVQ in care or equivalent/higher
• In-depth knowledge of CQC regulations
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Experience of working with adults/children in a residential / supported living setting
• Experience as a senior support worker or deputy/assistant manager or similar position
