Deputy Director Of Quality & Safety

Deputise for the Director of Nursing & Allied Health Professions Be a key member of the Provide Leadership team and participate in the manager on-call rota Be responsible for maintaining oversight of Quality and safety data and information to assess organisational performance against quality and safety standards and regulations and determine and implement strategies and plans to improve data reporting and assurance processes to enable confidence in assurance reported to the Board and its subcommittees Write very good quality assurance reports for the Board and its subcommittees as well as for external groups as required Be responsible for complaints management and lead on customer engagement across the organisation Be accountable for developing and reviewing the organisations policy management processes and maintain oversight of policy compliance Lead on the oversight and development of research activities and clinical audit Line manage the Head Infection prevention, Head of Quality & safety/ patient safety specialist and Head of Practice development and compliance. Lead on the identification, reporting and investigation of serious incidents and ensure learning is achieved Be responsible for ensuring safety alerts and NICE Guidance is disseminated and implemented across the organisation Produce the annual quality account for NHS services ensuring the legal requirements are met Oversee the development and achievement of the annual quality clinical strategy.
