Job title: Deputy Director, Partner Marketing

Who are we looking for?
We are currently looking for a new Deputy Director of Partner Marketing to join our ONCAMPUS Marketing team on a full-time, permanent basis.
The Deputy Director of Partner Marketing will lead on the strategic implementation of marketing campaigns, supporting product marketing managers to achieve their centre goals through strategic oversight. Working closely with the wider marketing and regional teams, they will –support sales to achieve recruitment targets. Additionally, they will be responsible for developing marketing campaigns and materials for high-priority centres and projects, identifying opportunities to increase brand awareness, brand penetration and new product development in the marketplace.
Within this role, the post-holder will line-manage, coach and provide leadership to the Marketing Managers and their reports, ensuring they are well-briefed, supported and work effectively with the wider team, delivering on their objectives.

Key responsibilities within this role include:
  • To deliver relevant and up to date marketing materials to support sales to achieve their recruitment target.
  • Provide strategic oversight to the Marketing Managers centre plans, ensuring they align with wider business objectives and monitoring delivery.
  • Lead on cross-product strategic marketing campaigns and projects, working closely with the Director of Marketing.
  • Manage the marketing department budget, ensuring all budget holders spend at pace according to annual budget plans and providing support and contingency planning.
  • Work with cross-functional teams at CEG to align on business needs and identify marketing opportunities.
  • Keep abreast of Trading trends and objectives and ensure marketing campaigns reflect these.
  • Be responsible for the creation of marketing strategy, plans and materials for high-profile centres and/or projects (maintain Marketing Manager duties for these centres/projects).

Key background, experience and skills expected:
  • Educated to undergraduate degree level or equivalent marketing qualifications.
  • Extensive work experience in a marketing role, within a commercially driven environment.
  • Line-management experience in a marketing environment.
  • Experience with print and digital campaign planning
  • Education sector experience (desirable)
  • Experience of working with international commercial partners (desirable)
  • Strong marketing management skills with a proven track record of creativity and producing effective marketing communications and to achieve targeted results.
  • Strategic thinker with strong campaign planning skills
  • Strong copywriting skills
  • Familiarity with product training across a complex business organisation.
  • Understanding of both B2B and B2C marketing.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Proven record of delivery and ability to manage multiple projects at any one time.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Negotiation skills
