Our client - Irelands largest hotel group are seeking an experienced Deputy General Manager to join their team in a 4-star luxury hotel in Galway.
The Deputy General Manager role will provide strategic support to the General for all Hotel Operations. The purpose of this role is to oversee the day-to-day operation of the hotel, to ensure standards are set and achieved on a consistent basis. To plan for the future, provide a friendly and efficient service while maximising sales and profit

The ideal candidate:

• 3-4 years of experience as a Deputy or Operations Manager in a large hotel.
• Strong focus on maintaining high standards, especially in Food & Beverage.
• Ambitious and eager to advance your career in the hotel industry.
• Experienced in leading and motivating teams.
• Skilled in employee development and talent management.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to contribute to hotel strategy.
• Proven ability to build relationships and influence at all business levels.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic support to the General Manager across all hotel operations.
• Lead and manage the heads of departments.
• Motivate and engage staff to consistently deliver excellent service.
• Implement and oversee succession planning and continuous staff development.
• Ensure exceptional customer care throughout the hotel.
• Support hotel profitability and effective cost management.
• Maintain the property to company performance standards and ensure compliance with HACCP and SOP manuals
• Encourage and address guest feedback promptly and professionally
