Deputy General Manager- Sports & Fitness - West London - £35-37K+development+excellent benefits

This is a fantastic development opportunity to take on all things 'operational' in one of the most diverse high-volume sports and fitness centres in London. As Deputy General Manager, the Operations teams report into you, and you will regularly step up and get exposure to acting as the General Manager as the existing General Manager oversees more than one site. You will be given further management training to increase your readiness to apply for General Manager opportunities internally within 12 months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, develop and manage the Duty Management team to be the best they can be every day.
• Take responsibility for health and safety, cleaning and day-to-day operations to ensure the highest standards are always maintained.
• Deal with customer queries and ensure customers have a fantastic customer experience.
• Collaborate with the sports, fitness, maintenance, sales and reception departments to ensure that they run smoothly.
• Deputise for the General Manager in their absence.

Person Specification:

• Ambitious, outgoing, self-motivated individual who is looking to move their career forward.
• Experienced operator and team leader within a busy sport, leisure, fitness centre or club probably as an Operations Manager, Senior Duty Manager or Assistant General Manager looking for advancement.
• Has a working knowledge of managing health and safety within leisure.
• Able to reliably commute to London W10 each working day.
