Deputy Head Electrician (Dominion Theatre)

The Dominion Theatre is looking for a skilled Deputy Head Electrician to join the permanent team. Working closely with the Head Electrician, the Deputy will assist in the running of the Electrical Department, facilitating the fit up and nightly running of visiting productions, as well as ongoing maintenance of the theatre's electrical systems.

Due to the technical nature of the role, it is essential that candidates are confident operating different lighting equipment, can demonstrate a knowledge of lighting consoles and networking, and have experience of undertaking electrical installation work.

The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 and the IET Wiring Regulations. It is also desirable that they either have, or be willing to undertake, working at height training and some form of electrical qualification.

This is an on-site role which involves working evenings and weekends, with regular Sunday shifts in addition to standard hours (as paid overtime).

Salary: £17.94 per hour
