We are seeking a motivated and visionary individual to join our Engineering (Automotive and Motorsport) Faculty as Deputy Head of the faculty at our Chippenham campus. In this key role, you will work closely with the Head of Faculty to drive innovation and enhance the quality of education, creating an environment of continuous improvement.
This role is based at our Chippenham campus where we deliver a variety of qualifications to full time learners, apprentices and Higher Education. A pivotal role that supports a culture focussed on learners' success whilst achieving the college's operational objectives and therefore ensuring the ongoing success of our faculty.
Within this role, you will also contribute towards the delivery of outstanding teaching provision to our learners, working to continue delivering teaching and assessments that prepare learners for industry, help learners to achieve their potential. This will be achieved through designing engaging lessons and offering support and guidance as you motivate learners into their chosen career paths.
About you
An ideal candidate for the role of Deputy Head of Faculty for Engineering (Automotive and Motorsport) is a highly motivated, visionary educational individual who has experience in delivering engineering provision and is looking to progress into a role that allows your commitment to quality to impact a diverse team. You may also be an experienced leader with a proven track record in an education institution, who has the drive to work in a fast paced and developing curriculum area.
You will be an adaptable person who is able to embrace a rapidly changing educational landscape, work effectively within a team and able to collaborate with the Head of Faculty, the other Deputy Heads, faculty members and wider stakeholders to achieve collective goals. You will also be able to understand the college's objectives, sharing our mission and vision to nurture a culture of growth and improvement in an inclusive and collaborative environment.
We can support you in your personal development and guide you through your journey into supporting a faculty team, with further support with our internal quality team.
You will hold a degree or higher in Engineering alongside your practical industry experience and be passionate about the subject and keen to share your knowledge and expertise with a diverse faculty of team members and learners.
