Residential Deputy Manager Needed in Stourbridge
Howard Finley Care are currently recruiting for a Residential Deputy Manager to work within my clients gorgeous care home in Stourbridge. You will be entering a company that thrives of a high standard of care and one that enjoys promoting their employees and residents in all the right ways and places.
About You:
- A passionate and dedicated Deputy Manager that likes to go the extra mile.
- To have an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care as a minimum.
- Ability to listen, observe and take the right actions when needed.
- Excellent Communication Skills: both Written and Verbal
- A thorough knowledge and understanding of current dementia and elderly care.
- To be familiar with existing CQC regulations.
- Valid UK driving licence is desirable.
Residential Deputy Manager vacancy details:
- £29,000 - £32,000 p/a
- Full time, permanent contract
- Small sized care home registered for 30+ residents.
- Elderly and Dementia Care
- 'Good' Rated CQC on 3 areas.
Residential Deputy Manager main duties:
- Collaborate with the home manager to oversee and manage all aspects of the care home ensuring compliance with regulations and adherence to quality standards.
- Provide leadership and support to the care team fostering a culture of empathy, respect, and excellence in care delivery.
- Assist in developing care plans and a person centered approach for residents with dementia promoting their well-being and quality of life.
- Conduct regular assessments, review, and evaluations to maintain high-quality care standards and implement necessary improvements.
- Act as a point of contact for residents, families and external stakeholders addressing inquiries and ensuring effective communication.
