Deputy Manager

A global luxury retailer is looking to recruit a Deputy Manager to work in its flagship store in the Folkestone area. The company is currently experiencing record sales growth and is expanding its teams to ensure that they are keeping up with customer demand.
The role of assistant manager will support the wider management team to drive sales and service through the effective management of your own department. You will be working in a multi-million pound turnover store which has seasonal peaks and troughs therefore and understanding of how to manage your team effectively both in the busy and quieter periods is essential. You will be responsible for analysing sales data to identify ways to drive sales and profitability through commercially sound visual standards.
The ideal candidate will come from a fashion retail background and have had exposure to working in a high turnover environment. You’ll be an experienced people manager who has a natural leadership style that can motivate their team to deliver the world class customer service standards that are expected within the business.
In return they are looking to pay a salary of up to £30,000 with a performance related annual bonus of up to 12% of your salary. You will also be given the autonomy to make decisions within your department that you wouldn’t necessarily get elsewhere. The company is always open to new ideas and will give you the chance to put these into practice.
