Deputy Manager Role:
You will work under the guidance of the Home Manager to support and supervise a team of Residential and Senior Residential Support Workers to provide quality care to looked after children. You will be able to lead, motivate and enhance the skills of your team and be able to model professionalism and leadership skills. The young people display complex social, emotional and behavioural difficulties and associated challenging behaviours, and need guidance to develop their independence skills and ability to integrate in to society. You will be confident and able to step in to the manager’s shoes in their absence.
Deputy Manager Criteria
Diploma/ NVQ Level 3 in children and young people (or equivalent qualification) or above
Senior experience of leading and developing others
Excellent knowledge of requirements of role and ability to lead others
