Clinical Lead Nurse/Deputy Nurse Manager Elderly and Dementia- Blackpool - GBP45000 - GBP50 000 PER ANNUM

Key Responsibilities of a Clinical Lead Nurse/Deputy Nurse Manager:

  • To work with the people, supporting them in the decisions they make about how they live their lives, and ensuring that personal needs are met.
  • To support the Registered Manager with all aspects of running the home including but not limited to supervision of staff, rotas, care planning, quality assurance, training, budget management, clinical aspects and management of medication.
  • You will be required to work on the floor as nurse on duty as when needed
  • Monitor activities and ensure quality of support and care is in line with the group s policy and sector regulatory standards.
  • Create a culture of team development and team working that aspires to the delivery of best practices for individuals using our services.
  • Demonstrate the ability to represent the organisation in an appropriate and professional manner in all internal and external contact and relationships.
  • Share the on-call rota with the home manager.

Required for a Clinical Lead Nurse/Deputy Nurse Manager:

  • A minimum of 3 years experience as a Nurse and a minimum of 1 years experience in a leadership role.
  • Valid NMC Pin
  • An up-to-date knowledge of best practice in managing Elderly people and those with Dementia
  • Willingness to work flexibly on a rota to meet the needs of the service, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
