Description

Derivatives Project Manager is responsible for leading the delivery of a major derivatives/FX project.

• Manage and oversee operations and derivative projects within the banking department
• Develop project plans, including goals, timelines, and budgets
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure project success
• Implement risk management strategies to mitigate project-related uncertainties
• Regularly report on project progress to senior management
• Strive for continuous process improvement within the department
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
• Provide leadership and guidance to project team members

Profile

A successful Derivatives Project Manager should have:

• A strong background in banking
• Experinece of within a banking function such as opearions, middle office, front office.....
• Expereince of capital markets products such as derivatives and FX.
• Excellent project management skills
• Proven experience in managing teams
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• A proactive approach to risk management
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• A qualification in project management would be beneficial
