Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings for various engineering components suitable for manufacturing.
• Create high-quality renders for customer approval and presentation.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure designs meet customer specifications and manufacturing requirements.
• Utilize SolidWorks to produce accurate and detailed engineering drawings and models.
• Program laser cutting machines to produce components according to design specifications.
• Perform offline CNC milling using Alphacam to ensure precise and accurate component manufacturing.
• Provide technical support and expertise to the production team during the manufacturing process.
• Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and regulations.
• Assist in the continuous improvement of design processes and documentation.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to the planning and execution of engineering projects.
• Perform reverse engineering on sample parts when necessary.
• Manage and maintain design documentation and records accurately.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Design Engineering role within a subcontract engineering, CNC machining, or sheet metal environment.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and experience with other CAD software.
• Experience with laser programming and offline CNC milling using Alphacam.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with CNC programming and operation.
• Knowledge of materials and their properties, including metals and alloys.
• Familiarity with quality control processes and standards.
• Experience with project management tools and techniques.
