Form of workWe are currently recruiting for 2 Design Engineering Managers on behalf of a high profile client in the Nuclear industry.
As Design Engineering Manager, you will:
* Be responsible for maintaining a live safety case for a facility which will include managing the production of engineering design substantiation and assessments to demonstrate that our new and existing assets (facilities, infrastructure, plant and equipment), are safe to operate and are compliant with legislation, Nuclear Licence Conditions, standards and requirements throughout the asset lifecycle
* Provide management of a professional engineering service in support of the CASD Programme and the company's strategic goals
* Work across functions, providing a supportive interface between the Facility, Safety Case Subject Matter Experts and Technical Authorities
Our client offers long term contract opportunities - 18 months initial duration with potential for extension, providing long term job stability and a hybrid working model - 50% remote and 50% on site -, for an optimal work-life balance.
We would like to hear from you if you have:
- Design or operational experience in a regulated environment (Nuclear, Gas, Oil, Rail, Pharma)
- Experience of working in a multi-discipline environment with responsibility for the engineering design and guardianship of high integrity assets through the whole life cycle
- Knowledge of legislation and standards relating to safety and safety maintenance within engineering e.g. HSAWA, CDM and their application if needed
- Experience of configuration and change control: governance, and implementation on a Nuclear licensed site and maintaining a live safely case
- Actove/current security clearance minimum SC level (DV would be an advantage)
We are currently recruiting for a SC cleared Senior Contracts Manager on behalf of a major Government Organisation in the Nuclear industry.
The Senior Contracts Manager will:
- Act as subject matter expert for assigned contracts, providing professional advice to enable business to effectively deliver contract objectives
- Ensure all contracts, they are responsible for, have a robust Contract Management Plan with defined procedure for delivery performance management, invoice applications, risk management and contract reviews
- Ensure contracts are delivered in accordance with business management system, priorities and conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with government regulations and legislation
- Implement the Supplier Relationship Management framework for assigned key suppliers, support the development and drive the implementation of Supplier Strategies
- Support procurement activity through providing best practice contact advice to develop contract templates and bespoke terms
Skills and experience required:
- Experience supporting large, complex programmes
- Industry experience
- NEC experience and construction experience
- Active, current SC clearance
Our client offers an 18 months contract with potential for extension and remote working uo to 80% of the time.
