About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Design Manager to join our dynamic team. You will lead a team of design professionals in the delivery of high-rise residential developments, overseeing all aspects of the design process from conception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the design team, ensuring project deadlines and budgets are met.
- Provide technical and design leadership, fostering a collaborative and creative working environment.
- Liaise with architects, engineers, and other consultants to ensure a seamless design integration.
- Manage design risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
- Oversee the production of high-quality design documentation and drawings.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building regulations and planning requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and innovations in high-rise residential design.
- Contribute to the development of design proposals and presentations.
Essential Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Design Manager role within the residential development sector.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering high-rise residential projects.
- Strong understanding of building regulations and planning requirements.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
Desirable Skills:
- Experience working within a fast-paced and demanding environment.
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles.
- Experience in BIM (Building Information Modelling).
Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary that will depend upon experience but looking within the range of £60,000 to £70,000 pa plus full benefits package, along with the opportunity to work on exciting high-profile projects in a dynamic and supportive environment.
