Design Manager - Dubai

Our clients are looking for an experienced Design Manager to join their team in Dubai. They are ideally looking for someone who is experienced in working on retail and / or hospitality projects. 

The successful Design Manager will be offered:

Experienced required:

• 3+ years experience as a Design Manager
• Experience with a GCC developer on retail and/or hospitality projects 
• In-depth knowledge of design principles, building codes, regulations, and construction processes
• Good leadership and project management skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and delegate effectively
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities
• Proficiency in relevant design software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
• A creative and strategic mindset, with a passion for innovation, sustainability, and delivering exceptional design outcomes
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field
• Driving license and access to own car to conduct site visits 

Design Manager responsibilities:

• Ensure timely and successful completion of projects
• Oversee the design process from conceptualization to implementation, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budget constraints
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop innovative and practical design solutions that align with the company's vision and goals
• Review and approve design concepts, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with regulations, industry standards, and client requirements
• Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor the progress of design implementation and address any design-related issues or challenges
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to the design team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Participate in client meetings and presentations to communicate design proposals, gather feedback, and make necessary adjustments to meet client expectations
• Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in design and construction to incorporate innovative ideas and approaches into our projects

Working hours: 

As a Design Manager you will be required to work Monday to Friday between 9.00 AM - 6.00 PM
