We currently have 2x fixed term contract roles for Workplace Desktop Analysts who will work with a variety of business and IT teams, as well as external partners and suppliers to provide a stable and productive work environment.  

Based on the three largest sites, we work to resolve incidents and fulfil requests in a professional and timely manner for the whole of our user population.

Desktop Analysts are the office based IT support analysts, working to make sure the employee experience of the workplace is optimal. They look after peripheral supplies, build laptops and are the first IT contact on employee induction.

•    Resolve a wide range of requests & incidents from connecting laptops, installing or troubleshooting application performance, to complex mailbox configuration. 
•    Provide deskside assistance
•    Provide remote support
•    Ensure that the digital and actual workplace is aligned to our goals.

What you will be doing

•    Resolve incidents/requests as effectively and efficiently as possible.
•    Escalate issues that require more technical assistance.
•    Develop and learn new services which come into the IT Operations environment.
•    Support users and act as first triage point (2nd line)
•    Assist in occasional project work.
•    Induction to new staters

What we're looking for

•    Excellent customer facing skills and communicating at all levels.
•    Ability to manage own workload and manage priorities.
•    Breadth of Technical experience and problem solving ability
