GTS has an exciting IT Contract for a Desktop Support Engineer in Newport. Initial 6 month contract but this may be extended.
This is a site-based contract role and is inside IR35. As a result, this role is suited to umbrella contractors only.
DBS will be required
This role is suitable for candidates able to start immediately
- Managing ticket queues through Service now to ensure that all tickets are updated in a timely manner to ensure end users get there issue resolved and have a good user experience.
- Installing, configuring and troubleshooting of software and hardware.
- Provide onsite support to customers.
- Responsibility of all allocated support tickets ensuring they are dealt with promptly and professionally whilst ensuring adherence to SLA's.
- Work closely with the relevant stakeholders to ensure that the highest quality of technical support and customer satisfaction is provided.
- Updating hardware in CMDB to ensure that it accurate.
- Working with other members of the team to ensure that knowledge sharing is happening across the team.
