Enso Recruitment are excited to be supporting a leading client in NI as they search for a new Desktop Support Engineer to join their team based in Derry/Londonderry. Within this role, you will be responsible forHandling device onboarding and offboarding of staff, assisting staff with their software, hardware and network issues, networking testing and maintenance, installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications, hardware maintenance and support of computer systems for global teams, Responsibilities: Offering quick fixes for common problems involving user computers, laptops, and other devices. (iOS/Win11) Assuming complete responsibility for Desktop duties while working from our head office and providing IT assistance to a geographically dispersed workforce around Europe. Contact with IT ticketing platforms, such Freshdesk, Service Now, Zendesk, and others Managing user onboarding and offboarding activities, such as account configurations, access configurations, and security in accordance with corporate guidelines. Carrying out system integration, data import/export, patch management, software installation, and general system administration. Offering support for video conference rooms/systems, printers, mobile devices, PCs, and laptops. Keeping self-help materials current so that staff members may solve issues on their own. Creating thorough documentation of all duties, procedures, and associated knowledge connected to system management. Participate actively in our change control procedures. Determining and putting into practice beneficial business Key requirements: 2 years experience working in an IT support role or Desktop support. Experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications Experience with SCCM, JAMF, Intune or similar.
