An exciting opportunity has become available to join a dynamic team responsible for the provision of desktop services in a large scale complex enterprise environment.
We are looking for a full time Desktop Support Team Leader who will be responsible for the day to day operation and line management of a team of Desktop Support Engineers for DDaT Information & Communication Technology, which comprises of a number of services that support or deliver Information & Communication Technology across BCUHB.
Extensive knowledge and experience troubleshooting complex technical issues and experience with supporting technologies such as Intune, Endpoint Manager (SCCM) and print management solutions are essential.
Manage staff withing area of responsibility, providing line management including sickness management, appraisals, recruitment etc. Communicate to service users and third party vendors at all levels.
Overseeing the prioritisation of planned and unplanned work within area of responsibility to reflect organisational and ICT wide objectives/priorities e.g., work schedules for Improvement projects, and resource plans for Projects etc. Working closely with other ICT teams and stakeholders in the delivery of desktop services and Projects
Committed to a culture of continuous improvement, development, and learning, underpinned by open communication and leadership based on promoting team working.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
