Form of workAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader to join our Despatch team in Glaisdale on a six-month fixed term contract.
In this role, you are responsible for assisting the Supervisor in the organisation of the scanning, loading and despatch of all items passing through the despatch department. This is a wide and varied role that covers health and safety, analysis of data, motivation and supervision of a team, daily communication with delivery drivers and much more.
We work as part of a close team – and our philosophy is that teamwork is the key to getting the job done and enjoying the job you do.
The working hours will fall between 6am and 6:45pm Monday to Friday.

Are you the ideal candidate? Here is what we are looking for…
- Educated to GCSE or equivalent level in Maths and English (any grade).
- Basic IT knowledge
- Excellent attention to detail
- Previous Health and Safety experience is desirable
- Confident communicating with the wider business
- Can demonstrate taking full responsibility in a previous post, and encouraging teamwork
- Confident using Excel
- Previous experience of supervising a small team is essential
- Previous experience in a similar environment is useful
- Flexibility in working hours
