Duration: 12 Months (long term project extensions likely)
Office Location: Bristol (Hybrid - Circa 3 days per week in the office)
Clearances: Active SC Clearance or eligible to gain.
A cutting-edge Defence Tech company, on a mission to leverage technological innovation for the greater good is looking for a DevOps Engineer on a contract basis for at least the next 12 months.
A great opportunity to work on the NEW complex AWS designs Amazon are publishing, you will support the team in architecting these cloud systems from the ground up.

Key Skills & Experience:
- Design, implement, and manage cloud-based infrastructure on AWS
- Experience with Infrastructure as code (IaC)
- Programming experience using Python
- Docker and containerization technologies
- Version control systems (preferably Git)
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment of applications
- Monitor and ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of applications
- Implement security best practices and maintain compliance with industry standards
Desirable Experience:
- Terraform
- Experience implementing IDAM
- CDK & Cloud Formation experience
