Diabetes Research Administrator

About the Role The Diabetes Research group activity includes clinical trials for new treatments in diabetes and its complications and many academic studies, surveys and questionnaires on health care provision and services, and management of a large diabetes database (DARE) of over 8,000 members. The role involves general and research administration, maintenance of our database, and promotion of our research work online and via social media. The role requires meticulous data entry, attention to detail, and good administrative management. About You Candidates should have a degree in science or project management and experience of patient recruitment, data entry, and management would be advantageous but not essential. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to set up and maintain effective data systems are essential. About the Institute The Blizard Institute was established in 2003 and is one of six Institutes within Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry, QMUL. The Institute comprises approximately 400 staff based in four academic Centres and one Public Engagement Centre, and supports a combined total of c750 postgraduate research and taught students.
