About Us:
Help us to make a reality of Digital Inclusion so that no-one gets left behind.
In Kensington and Chelsea, we put local people and local businesses at the heart of decision-making, working in partnership with them to provide quality services that are responsive, effective and efficient.
The challenges of the pandemic have intensified the already profound impacts of missing out on an increasingly on-line world. Working in close partnership with our community and partners we want to make sure that everyone who wants to get online has the support and help they need.
This high profile partnership and Council plan priority spans all Council directorates, third sector and community groups and NHS organisation. We are also working with regional and national partners and other London authorities and are developing our workplan based a sophisticated understanding of the complex needs, issues and barriers facing almost 10% of the population.
The Role:
As the Digital Inclusion Delivery Manager you will have a key role in securing senior leadership support for the full investment case and in defining and delivering our Digital Inclusion Programme to address the exclusion of an estimated 12,000 residents.
You will join a small team which is leading and co-ordinating the local response to Digital Inclusion. You will work in close partnership with leads in each directorate and in NHS and third sector partner organisations.
The variety and extent of the role offers reward and challenge in equal measure. Your ability to multitask and prioritise will be tested to the full and you will further develop your stakeholder engagement and programme and project management and skills.
Please refer to the Job Description for more information.
About You:
As well as experience in successfully defining and delivering organisational change, you'll be highly organised and you'll pride yourself on your high standards of delivery. An excellent all-round communicator you'll be able to energise and co-ordinate the work of colleagues across the Council.
In return, you can look forward to a package that includes a competitive salary, a high-quality pension scheme and generous annual leave plus bank holidays.
