Marketing Assistant

Hamilton Fraser, a valued part of Brown & Brown (Europe), are looking for a Digital Marketing Assistant to join their professional & successful team.
You'll be supporting the marketing team with planning, implementing and monitoring our marketing campaigns to acquire and retain customers, so a passion for and experience within marketing is a must. You'll need to have good analytical skills as you'll be producing reports and regularly measuring the ROI of campaigns to help inform future marketing campaigns.
You'll need to have great inter-personal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and precisely as a Digital Marketing Assistant, as you'll be writing and editing content for our social media, websites and press releases as well as providing recommendations.
You'll need to have good working knowledge of analytics and SEO tools, and as you'll be working with internal and external stakeholders, designers, copywriters and producers to deliver on assets and plans, you'll need to have the ability to liaise and build relationships with people.
Duties will include:
- Assisting the Content, Engagement and Quality Lead and marketing team
- Measuring campaign and content performance, analysing and providing recommendations for optimisation
- Assisting in the formulation of strategies to build a lasting digital connection with consumers
- Supporting with competitor research and analyse benchmarking data
- Assisting with the production of marketing materials and collateral
- Assisting the design and implementation of targeted marketing campaigns to capture new clients and generate incremental business growth
- Carrying out market research and monitoring competitor activity, demand, brand positioning and awareness for current and future products
- Assisting in the preparation and organisation of exhibitions and events and attending these where required
Ideal experience would include:
- Marketing experience in an office environment, or a university degree in Marketing
- Working knowledge of analytics and SEO tools (such as Google Trends, Ahrefs and Google Analytics (GA4)
- Good Microsoft skills particularly with Excel, PowerPoint and Word
