In a challenging and competitive graduate recruitment market, our Graduate Recruitment and Engagement Team connect employers with our talented students and graduates. We offer a wide range of activities throughout the year, such as graduate career events, networking events and employer presentations giving our students and graduates opportunities to engage with industry professionals and help set them up for success.
The Role
You will be responsible for the communications and marketing activity for all of Student Futures. This role will allow you to make an impact. You’ll be able to use your creative and innovative mindset to take the lead on all things creative and lead on the ‘look and feel’ of our digital presence.
As someone who has a passion for designing and creating compelling content, you’ll have the opportunity to showcase your vibrant and creative style, working on effective and imaginative content including digital media assets, asset production and communications using InDesign, our digital design programme. We trust that the content you create will be difference making and captivating so whether it’s a student, graduate, or stakeholder engaging with your designs and communications, they’ll be thinking that it ‘Must Be Napier’.
You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our ENU Marketing and Student Communications teams as well as our Student Futures Leadership Team to create and implement engaging, multi-channel communications and marketing plans that enhance our visibility as well as make a real impact to our digital presence.
We’re also looking for you to connect and collaborate with a wide range of our staff, students, and graduates, whether this is to create innovative opportunities or provide a key link to the student population.
This is an extremely varied role, ranging from working on a variety of projects to produce creative pieces of work like our CV guide, supporting the development of our LinkedIn and social media strategy, and working closely with our Student Futures Data Analyst to design, implement and analyse key data to increase our student/graduate engagement levels as well as SEO and analytics.

What we’ll need from you
- An undergraduate degree (or equivalent) or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience of working within a professional communications environment, meeting agreed objectives, deadlines and organisational priorities.
- Experience of both digital and print content design for a range of audiences.
- Experience with CRM software and the use of this to support with Marketing and Communications activities.
- Experience of ‘InDesign’ or equivalent digital design programme.
- Experience of designing and implementing large scale, multi-channel marketing, and communications plans.
- Experience of evaluating the effectiveness of key marketing/communication activities and using this to improve future processes.
- Experience of creating content for web page and social media use.
Our Benefits
Salary: £29,605 - £36,024 per annum, plus pay increases each year
Hours: 35 per week, Monday-Friday with flexible and hybrid working available
