Digital Marketing Executive

Yellow Box Marketing is a full-service creative agency that has been in the industry for over a decade. We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic Junior Digital Marketer to enhance our team of creatives. This role will allow you to dive into the world of SEO and Social Media Marketing, working hand in hand with our seasoned professionals to forge real results for our clients.

About The Job:

As a pivotal member of our team, your journey will expand across a variety of tasks designed to bolster our SEO and Social Media client accounts:

• Split Time: This role is a hybrid between Social Media and SEO, and therefore your time will be split between aiding each of these departments. Eventually, if you find your interests leaning to one service, we will be able to accommodate your progression in one area.

• Collaborative Support: Take on the vital role of the SEO lead's and Social Media Lead’s right hands, aiding in daily activities and the execution of SEO and social media strategies, including the creation of new website pages, content enrichment and planning.

• Reporting / Audits: Confidently using Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Looker Studio to dissect and report on crucial client data, crafting narratives that drive strategic decisions.

• Technical SEO: Play a key role in the deployment of technical SEO strategies, contributing to the creation and optimisation of new page designs.

• Strategy Development: Assist in the process of creating client strategies, aiming to amplify their ROI through innovative practices.

• Content Proofreading / Writing: Hone your skills in content proofreading and composition, ensuring all client content is polished and potentially crafting original pieces under the guidance of the SEO lead.

• Creating Posts: You will work with the Social Media lead to help create monthly social media posts for our clients. Once fully trained, you will have the opportunity to help run their strategies and plan content with the photography department.

About You:

• Experience: 1-2 years in an agency setting or a similar role is preferred, though not mandatory. Fresh graduates eager to step into the SEO and Social Media realm or individuals with in-house experience are encouraged to apply.

• Creativity: Your ability to think outside the box and design compelling SEO and Social Media campaigns.

• Organisation: Show off your ability to manage campaigns efficiently, keeping all project components streamlined and on schedule.

• Proactivity: Stay one step ahead with a keen eye on SEO trends and industry shifts, demonstrating ways we can innovate and adapt.

• Collaboration: Embrace the power of teamwork, engaging with various departments to enrich our SEO strategies and outcomes.

• WordPress Proficiency: Given our reliance on WordPress, your familiarity with this platform for content management is crucial.

• Literary Skills: Exhibit your flair for writing, capable of producing engaging content for our clients and conducting thorough research for blog posts.

• Driving / Learning to Drive: This is not a complete necessity and we do invite everyone to apply for the role, however the ability to drive would be helpful for client meetings off-site.

• Adobe Skills: Understand and create social media posts through Adobe or have a willingness to learn.

Pay: £20,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
