Contract: Full Time / Permanent

About the role…
EG Group has embarked on a standardisation project utilising standard software solutions and industry standard project methodologies to manage their Project Portfolio. This standardisation is an enabler to support the ongoing development of the project and Software Development Lifecycle, whilst ensuring that digital risks and controls are managed and maintained.
The Digital Project Manager will form a part of the Digital Project management office function responsible for delivering the successful implementation of projects assigned to them. Reporting into the IT Program Director and Senior Project Manager, the Digital Project Manager will work with the business stakeholders, subject matter experts, digital counterparts and external partners, to govern and manage programs/projects through their full lifecycle delivering both business requirements and project governance controls in line with standard EG methodologies.
Duties and Responsibilities
Quickly create strong relationships with members of the program/project teams to gain their trust and be a credible partner in helping them through all stages of the project.
Manage the full project lifecycle using ServiceNow Strategic Planning Module.
Lead all activities from initiation to delivery utilising both waterfall and agile methodologies.
Project deliverables include Business Case preparation, Scope, goal and deliverable definition, cost/benefit assimilation, Resource planning, Project Planning, Risk, actions, issue and decision management, stakeholder and communication management plans, testing, training, cutover and data migration activities, go live management criteria/metrics and post go live support, benefit realisation and lessons learnt visibility.
Project governance deliverables include monitoring of timelines, milestones and deliverables, managing risk and issues, exception escalations, stakeholder management, Steering Group Management, Program/Project reporting and generation of relevant artefacts to support EG digital risk and control requirements.
Ability to work with the business, IT Group Programme Director, Senior Project Manager and PMO Lead to resource and support all stages of the project with a strong focus in ensuring full participation from the user community and that associated quality and governance controls are undertaken.
Candidate Requirements
5 years Project Management experience across the full software development lifecycle.
Prince 2 Practitioner Certification (waterfall / agile) or equivalent.
Experience of waterfall and agile project methodologies.
Experience of Microsoft Project, ServiceNow SPM, SAP Solution Manager.
Advanced use of Microsoft tools Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams.
