You'll join our Digital Workspaces team. We are responsible for the foundation infrastructure that underpins all DWP's technical capabilities.
We put the right infrastructure in place to ensure DWP is set up for success. We put the right tech and tooling in the hands of the people that need it, so that they can better deliver for users who need to access payments, support and advice.
This is a complex area that will allow you to bring your experience in delivering large scale technical infrastructure projects to one of the most complex and largest environments in UK Government.
You'll be our expert and strategic voice on project management. You'll also be part of a brilliant community of practice, with other project and delivery managers, and have opportunity to shape what Project Management means in DWP.
Essential Criteria
- Lead Criteria: Significant experience in the Digital Project delivery of infrastructure services -such as Desktop, End User Computing, or Identity - within a large and complex organisation where you managed high impact, high risk projects, or managed a portfolio of projects within a programme, over the entire programme lifecycle.
- Experience of managing complex stakeholder environments and relationships, resolving strategic risks, issues, and conflicts.
- Experience leading a team of Digital Project Managers and multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Experience in line management, mentoring, coaching Digital Project Managers and identifying growth opportunities for the team.

You'll join our team based in your choice of one of our digital hubs in Blackpool, Leeds or Manchester. We work a hybrid model - some time at home, some time in a hub.
In return for your skills we offer competitive salary for this role is up to £77,740 per annum. You'll also get employer pension contributions of 27.9% - 30.3%, worth up to £23,555 a year.
And a generous leave package starting at 26 days (25 annual leave days plus one extra for the King's Birthday) and rising to 31 days.
