The team

Our vision is to be More than TV, building upon ITV’s unique and winning combination of creativity and commercial strength, driven by investment in data and technology.  Our ITV Commercial team is responsible for bringing in the £1.9bn worth of advertising that helps fund ITV's programming.  However, our Commercial team isn’t just about advertising sales jobs, we also have ITV Creative Partnerships who is responsible for building brand activations around ITV programmes and channels using TV sponsorships, secondary programme partnerships, content, product placement and digital integrations to build advertising campaigns for ITV’s clients

The role

This person will be key in Digital Sales for the ITV Commercial team; developing, articulating and selling ITV’s Connected TV (CTV) and addressable linear offering via Planet V to ITV’s entire customer base, including; media agencies, digital agencies and Advertisers. Working closely with the Head of Digital Sales, this role is to maximise the success of ITV’s digital proposition, drive digital revenue and support the transition of the ITV Commercial team into a highly respected, data driven organisation.

​​You will be the ITVX, Addressable Linear, Planet V and ITV Ad Labs expert for the Commercial Team, for media agencies, digital agencies and advertisers.

Work with the Head of Digital with a key focus on:

  • Partnering with our customers to drive continued double digit growth of ITV Hub revenues by growing existing and attracting new advertisers’ investment.
  • Conducting introductory as well as on-going training and insight sessions for ITV commercial, agencies and clients. Collaborating with ITV’s existing resource to enhance our existing proposition.
  • Working with clients to deliver data match campaigns via our clean room partner Infosum, as well as ITV’s research and data teams to demonstrate the value of ITV Hub on media plans.
  • Evolving existing data driven and addressable solutions for advertisers. Accelerating ITV’s digital and innovation credentials and perception in the market

Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)

  • Proven experience working in a respected digital organisation
  • Proven commercial growth in current and previous roles
  • Successful background of selling across digital and VOD
  • Experience of planning, financial management and budgets, project management and negotiation skills
  • Experienced and confident presenter (powerpoint, storytelling, flex in presenting style to clients, teams and in front of large audiences).

  • Strong data analytics skills from multiple sources. 
  • Strong senior agency and client relationships
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to collaborate with others.
  • Good TV and media knowledge
  • A confident communicator with demonstrable networking skills with an ability to quickly develop strong working relationships with colleagues / external partners.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
