About the Team

Project Services is the delivery engine for projects and programmes through the GSMA. Working in close partnership with subject matter experts within the GSMA and from across the mobile industry, the Project Services team manages a wide range of Technology, Product Development and Marketing and Events initiatives as well as internal change programmes and projects in areas such as IT, HR, Finance and Operations. As well as delivering projects and programmes to agreed cost, quality and timelines, the Project Services team maintains a strong focus on delivering benefits to our organisation, members and to the mobile industry.

About the Role
  • You will support delivery of GSMA’s Digital Transformation strategy “Digital First”, providing programme leadership to the team
  • You will oversee the portfolio of digital and data projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence and quality outcomes
  • You will define structure and plan the programme and approach, with consideration for the dependencies and constraints
  • You will develop detailed change management plans that include clear objectives, timelines, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • You will design communication plans that keep stakeholders informed and engaged throughout the programme, whilst ensuring that messages are consistent, transparent, and tailored to various audiences
  • You will proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with the programme, ensuring that potential issues are addressed promptly to minimize disruption
  • You will design, establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of programme, providing regular reports and updates to senior management
  • You will lead business change activities with a structured approach encompassing change management, training, adoption, and communications
  • You will champion best practices, providing expert advice to team members and project lead
  • You will develop and execute stakeholder management plans, fostering engagement and confidence in project delivery

About You
  • You have demonstrable experience in Digital Transformation programmes and delivering complex change across organisations
  • You have experience in implementing business change using various frameworks, methodologies, models, and theories.
  • You have experience in designing change management communications and training programs.
  • You bring excellent communication and storytelling skills, and are able to make complex technical concepts easily understood
  • You show up with curiosity, and have a track record of creative problem solving to get things done at pace
  • You have strong relationship & stakeholder management skills - experience in working as trusted advisor at senior business leader level on critical, complex challenges
  • You have experience in balancing different priorities and finding common ground and consensus
  • You have the ability to influence effectively at different organisational levels
  • You bring people together to achieve great things, and have demonstrable experience of doing so
