Digitial Developer (Housing Management System)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the ICT, HMS Business Support Team.
A critical role in delivering a responsive and strategically driven ICT & Digital service. Key to this is to ensure the service effectively responds to the challenges, problems and opportunities encountered by the Housing & Neighbourhood service area programme of change.
The post holder will support the service area in developing key ICT & Digital solutions. This will include complex interrogation of data amd use of a range of products for example, NEC Housing, NEC DMS , and other solutions.
As directed by the Team Manager, HRA System Support, the candidate will provide services to support the delivery of various Neighbourhood & Housing Projects, contributing to the ongoing management of the applications necessary to support the Council's services.
We are looking to appoint a creative and self-motivated individual with excellent ICT and communication skills. Excellent working knowledge and experience of NEC Housing Systems is desirable.
You will have the skills to work well with colleagues at all levels and be able to respond to complex queries using technology solutions in response to business problems. Having a sound knowledge of ICT solutions to respond to the Social Housing Consumer Standards and Compliance is also desirable.
Responsible for writing testing scripts, arranging user acceptance testing, documenting all work performed and working to recognised project management methodologies alongside project teams. Evidence of providing sound documentation to ensure BAU support teams can adopt and manage the solutions, which go beyond implementation is also a key aspect of the role.
Essential:
Solid experience of SQL database design and development
Extensive experience supporting Housing Management Software systems ideally NEC Housing
Experience with design and implementation of integrations to back office systems.
Demonstrable ETL and data migration experience
Solid SQL scripting
