We have an exciting opportunity to join our Direct Payments Team. The Team is focussed on providing those needing support with choices and the freedom to manage their care their way. This post is 30hours per week working a flexible calendar over 5 days, consideration for 4 days is optional. This is a permanent post
The successful candidate will be key in supporting those receiving a Direct Payment, the person employed to carry out the support and the Social Care workers, to ensure the process is smooth. Keeping records of contact and progress is essential and an understanding of Direct Payments is desirable.
The main duties include – Ensuring the correct documentation is completed and in place. Monitoring accounts to ensure payments are correct. Being able to build a trusted relationship with those receiving Direct Payments and other partners including payroll and community banks.
