What is the opportunity?
RBC BlueBayAsset Management offers a comprehensive range of solutions and services to clients and investors.
The role will be joining our Global Institutional Marketing department and you will lead the content strategy and delivery of content across multiple types of media to enhance our reach to target audiences.
What will you do?
Plan, manage and deliver the content strategy for RBC GAM institutional businesses. Covering product and non-product orientated content. Product orientated content includes, but not limited to, BlueBay fixed income and RBC GAM equity capabilities across EMEA APAC, US and Canadian Institutional.
Lead, develop and deliver a content strategy that supports and promotes the priority strategies and investment themes, with a brand awareness, corporate responsibility and ESG overlay.
Work closely with the Managing Directors, Marketing in UK and US and Director, Marketing in Canada, to build a strategically aligned steady flow of multi-format, highly targeted content to meet the needs of institutional and wholesale client audiences, as well as broader industry readership, to be deployed via a range of methods (e.g. email, event materials, digital content, placed content, advertorials, social media etc), through targeted or ongoing campaigns.
Working with the digital and marketing specialists to plan and deliver a schedule of website content that echoes business priorities and messaging, customising the content specifically for web consumption, including SEO considerations.
Manage all content across the Insights section across websites, in conjunction with relevant stakeholders.
Develop strong and collaborative relationships with related internal teams and external agencies.
Proactively support marketing projects, both from a content perspective and more broadly to ensure the team delivers highly successful projects that align to strategic priorities.
Provide editing support and guidance across the team as required.
As required, drive the development of product-specific marketing materials in partnership with relevant stakeholders to bridge the gap between desk-led content and editorial pieces, tailoring content to meet the specific needs of wholesale and intuitional readers.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Develop strong relationships with the regional RBC GAM content and marketing teams. Champion content with these teams and disseminate content from other regions.
Use analytics to improve content and communications style, leveraging test and learn approach, and always seeking continuous improvement in how content is consumed by target audiences.
Build strong partnership relationships with investment teams and key C-suite stakeholders in order to produce content that meets requirements for target audiences. Become a trusted partner to these teams, demonstrating a strong understanding of both businesses’ strategies and topical themes.
Continuously strive to improve or introduce process efficiencies and champion automated and digital solutions across the remit of the role.
Partner with wider RBC stakeholders to leverage content and wider stakeholders to find opportunities to work collaboratively to the benefit of the business.
Work closely to create streamlined and efficient Compliance approval processes and develop a best-practice culture. Scrupulously manage the sign-offs of content.
Significant experience of developing and delivering content strategies, with an editorial mindset.

Feed into/support the planning and execution of collateral for new product launches.
Oversee or manage the deployment of content through the SharePoint, Seismic, and any other relevant platforms.
Support the design and brand implementation of content, working to creatively bring the content to life.
